New dressing could help cancer patients use fewer steroids for painful skin reactions

NCT ID NCT04087629

Summary

This study is testing whether a flexible wound dressing called StrataCTX® can help reduce the need for steroid creams when treating skin reactions. These reactions occur in people with cutaneous T-cell lymphoma (CTCL) or those receiving chemotherapy/immunotherapy for other cancers. Researchers want to see if using this dressing can ease itching and improve quality of life while allowing patients to use less steroid medication.
