Summary
This small pilot study tested a high-precision radiation technique called stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT) in 20 adults with liver cancer that could not be surgically removed. The goal was to see if this approach could safely deliver radiation directly to the tumor while sparing healthy tissue. Researchers tracked severe side effects and how long patients survived after treatment.
