Own stem cells injected to restore sexual function after cancer
NCT ID NCT04594850
Summary
This study tested whether a single injection of a patient's own bone marrow stem cells could safely improve erectile function in men who developed erectile dysfunction after prostate removal surgery for cancer. It involved 54 men and measured changes in sexual function and satisfaction over 12 months. The goal was to see if this cell therapy could help where standard oral medications had failed.
