NCT ID NCT02844361
First seen Feb 12, 2026 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 15 times
Summary
This study looked at whether a stem cell transplant (using a patient's own cells) could help people with a high-risk form of Waldenström macroglobulinemia live longer compared to standard chemotherapy. About 70 adults aged 18 to 70 with this rare blood cancer took part. The main goal was to see if the transplant improved how long patients lived without the disease getting worse.
