First seen Feb 13, 2026 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 12 times
Summary
This study tests whether stem cells taken from a patient's own belly fat can help regenerate knee cartilage and reduce pain in people with knee osteoarthritis. Sixty adults with moderate to severe knee arthritis will receive either the stem cell treatment or standard care, and be followed for one year. The goal is to see if this approach offers better pain relief and knee function than current treatments.
