First seen Jan 25, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 13 times

Summary

This study tested if infusing a child's own bone marrow stem cells, combined with educational therapy, can safely reduce autism symptoms. 54 children aged 3 to 7 with moderate to severe autism took part. The approach aims to improve social skills and daily living, but is not a cure and requires ongoing support.
