Summary
This study tested a special bone graft material called Osteocel Plus, which contains stem cells, during spinal fusion surgery. The goal was to see if it helps the spine bones grow together solidly after surgery for people with severe, chronic lower back pain. Researchers followed 51 patients for two years to measure how well the fusion healed and compare results to other standard graft materials.
