First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 29 times

Summary

This study tests an experimental drug called MBX 1416 for people who have dangerously low blood sugar after weight-loss surgery. Ten adults who had gastric bypass or sleeve gastrectomy at least a year ago will receive a single injection of the drug. Researchers will measure how well it prevents low blood sugar episodes during a standard meal test.
