First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 14 times
Summary
This study tests if a special disc (StatSeal) helps people walk sooner after a common heart procedure for atrial fibrillation, compared to the usual stitch method. About 160 adults having the procedure will be randomly assigned to one of the two closure methods. The goal is to see which approach leads to faster recovery and fewer complications.
