NCT ID NCT07270029

First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 21 times

Summary

This study is testing whether giving children a sensory toy, like a spinner or putty, before surgery can help reduce their anxiety. About 500 children aged 5 to 15 will either get a toy to play with or standard care. Researchers will measure anxiety levels at different points before the operation to see if the toys make a difference.
