New study tests how CT scan tweaks affect tumor measurements

NCT ID NCT03038568

First seen Apr 26, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 7 times

Summary

This study looks at how small changes in CT scan settings affect the way tumors are measured in people with colorectal cancer that has spread to the liver. About 169 participants will get an extra CT scan to see if the measurements stay reliable even when scan details vary. The goal is to improve how doctors track tumors over time, not to treat the disease.
