Summary

This study tested a single injection of STA363 (lactic acid) into the spinal discs of 110 adults with chronic low back pain from disc problems. Participants had pain for over 6 months and hadn't gotten enough relief from standard treatments. The goal was to see if the injection reduces pain and improves disability compared to a placebo.
