New combo therapy aims to halt recurring brain tumor growth

Summary
This study tests whether adding the immunotherapy drug pembrolizumab to precise radiation (stereotactic radiosurgery) can help control recurrent meningioma, a type of brain tumor. About 35 adults with grade II or III meningioma that has returned after prior treatments will receive the combination. The goal is to see if this approach can delay tumor progression and improve survival.
