Summary
This study tested a two-session childbirth preparation program where spouses participated together, based on self-efficacy theory. 120 first-time mothers and their partners took part. The goal was to reduce fear of childbirth, boost confidence, and improve birth outcomes. The program was added to routine hospital care and compared to routine care alone.
