New scan spots hidden prostate cancer return

Summary
This study tested a new type of PET scan (rhPSMA 7.3) to see if it can safely and accurately find prostate cancer that has come back in men with rising PSA levels after initial treatment. 391 men with suspected recurrence received the scan, and doctors checked if the scan correctly identified cancer locations. The goal is to improve detection of recurrent prostate cancer to guide further treatment.
