New bone graft material aims to improve spine fusion success

Summary

This study tests whether Orthoss®, a bone graft extender, is safe and effective for spine fusion surgery in adults with lower back problems like slipped vertebrae or spinal stenosis. 65 participants received the material during surgery to help bones fuse together. The main goal is to see if the spine bones fuse properly within 6 months, and the study also tracks quality of life improvements over 2 years.
