New keyhole spine surgery could offer faster recovery for back pain sufferers

Summary
This study compares a newer, less invasive spine surgery (UBE) to traditional open surgery for people with a specific type of lower back and leg pain caused by a slipped vertebra and narrowed spinal canal. The goal is to see if the newer technique works as well or better. About 200 adults who haven't improved with other treatments will take part.
