First seen Sep 30, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 30 times

Summary

This study is a nationwide registry in China that follows 600 children with spinal muscular atrophy (SMA). The goal is to understand how the disease progresses naturally and how well current treatments work in everyday life. Researchers will collect information from both past medical records and ongoing check-ups. No new treatments are tested; instead, this study helps doctors learn more about SMA in Chinese children.
