First seen Apr 30, 2026 · Last updated Jun 16, 2026 · Updated 9 times

Summary

This study looked at 87 adults who had a type of back problem called isthmic spondylolisthesis, where a small bone in the spine breaks and a vertebra slips forward. All patients had a two-part surgery to fuse the bones together. The goal was to see if the surgery safely and effectively relieves symptoms and helps the bones heal. Results were checked with CT scans and measurements of nerve space.
