New MRI technique could help surgeons predict spinal tumor removal difficulty

Summary
This study tests whether a special MRI scan (magnetic resonance elastography) can measure how stiff and sticky a spinal cord tumor is before surgery. Knowing this could help surgeons plan the best way to remove the tumor. The study will enroll 20 people who are already scheduled for spinal cord tumor surgery.
