Spinal cord stimulation offers hope for bladder and bowel recovery after paralysis

Summary

This study tests whether a spinal cord stimulator can safely improve bladder and bowel function in people with spinal cord injury. Ten adults with injuries older than 6 months will receive an implanted device and undergo 6 months of therapy. The goal is to see if this approach can restore some control and improve quality of life.
