Zapping away bowel accidents: At-Home device trial offers hope for spinal injury patients

Summary
This study is testing whether daily electrical stimulation on the skin near the genitals can help reduce bowel accidents in people with spinal cord injuries. Twelve participants will use a TENS device at home for 4 weeks while keeping a diary of their symptoms. The main goal is to see if this daily stimulation approach is practical and acceptable as a potential new bowel management option.
