New spinal technique aims to stop dangerous blood pressure drops during C-Sections

NCT ID NCT07327866

Summary

This study aims to find the best way to give spinal anesthesia for planned cesarean sections to prevent a sudden drop in the mother's blood pressure. Researchers will compare the standard single injection method with a newer technique that gives the medication in smaller, split doses. They will measure which method keeps blood pressure more stable and leads to fewer side effects for mothers and their babies.
