New study tests ways to make spinal anesthesia last longer for pelvic surgery

NCT ID NCT07485127

Summary

This study aims to see which of two add-on medications works better when mixed with the standard spinal anesthetic for pelvic fracture surgery. Researchers want to find out which one helps the pain-numbing effect last longer and provides better pain relief after the operation. The trial will involve 60 adults having surgery to fix a broken pelvis.
