NCT ID NCT05729503
First seen May 07, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study aimed to see if a sphenopalatine ganglion (SPG) block—a numbing shot inside the nose—could quickly reduce anxiety in adults at electronic dance music festivals. Participants would have received either lidocaine or a saltwater placebo. The study was withdrawn before enrolling anyone, so no results are available.
