New speech practice shows promise for aphasia recovery
NCT ID NCT05687994
Summary
This study tested a speech therapy technique called 'speech entrainment,' where people with aphasia practice speaking by imitating a model in real time. The goal was to see if this practice helps them speak more clearly and efficiently on their own afterward. Researchers worked with 30 adults who have aphasia to compare different practice schedules and methods.
