First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 34 times
Summary
This study looked at whether a technique called speech entrainment—where a person repeats speech in real-time with a model—can improve independent speaking in people with aphasia. Thirty adults with aphasia practiced this way, and researchers measured how informative and efficient their speech became. The goal was to find the best practice conditions to help them communicate more effectively.
