NCT ID NCT05269745
First seen Apr 03, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 10 times
Summary
This study tested two different ankle brace treatments in 14 children with cerebral palsy who have tight calf muscles. One group wore a standard brace almost all day, while the other group used a new brace that allows more ankle movement during the day. The goal was to see which approach better improves muscle length, strength, and walking. The study was small and focused on measuring muscle changes, not on finding a cure.
