Sound waves blast artery calcium in new PAD trial

Summary
This study tests a new device that uses sound waves to break up hard calcium deposits in leg arteries of people with peripheral artery disease (PAD). About 110 adults will receive the minimally invasive procedure and be followed for 6 months. The goal is to see if the treatment safely improves blood flow and reduces complications.
