Soundwaves in a chair aim to soothe Chemo's painful side effect
NCT ID NCT05980169
Summary
This study is testing a special chemotherapy chair that delivers low-frequency soundwaves to the body. The goal is to see if these vibrations can prevent or reduce the painful nerve damage (neuropathy) that is a common side effect of certain cancer drugs. Researchers are enrolling 80 patients with gynecologic cancers to see if the treatment improves their symptoms and quality of life.
