Summary

This study is testing if soaking a throat pack in a steroid solution can reduce sore throat pain after nose surgery. It will compare the steroid pack to a standard saline pack in 90 adults having a planned septoplasty. The main goal is to see if fewer patients experience a sore throat in the first hour after waking up from anesthesia.
