First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study tested whether a short counseling program (solution-oriented approach) could help first-time pregnant women feel less fearful about childbirth and more confident in their ability to give birth vaginally. 40 women in their third trimester received the training, while another 40 received only standard care. Researchers measured changes in traumatic birth perception and self-efficacy using questionnaires.
