New ear tube device could make child ear infection treatment easier

Summary

This study tests a new tool called the Solo+ Tympanostomy Tube Device for placing tiny tubes in children's eardrums to treat ear infections. About 66 children aged 6 months to 12 years will get the procedure in a doctor's office. The goal is to see if the device is safe and works well for draining fluid and preventing future infections.
