First seen May 21, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026
Summary
This study looked at how facial soft tissues change after two types of jaw surgery for people with a specific jaw misalignment (skeletal Class III). Researchers used 3D imaging to compare minimally invasive surgery versus conventional surgery in 31 patients. The goal was to understand differences in healing and appearance, not to test a new treatment.
