First seen Apr 16, 2026 · Last updated Apr 16, 2026
Summary
This study tested a soft, wearable robotic suit called the MyoSuit to see if it is safe and helpful for people with various muscle-weakening diseases. Thirty-two participants with conditions like muscular dystrophy tried the device during walking and sitting/standing tests. The main goal was to see if the suit could assist with movement without causing harm and to gather data for future home-use studies.
