Can a computer game teach social skills to ease the burden of Huntington's disease?

NCT ID NCT06828471

Summary

This study is testing whether a computer-based training program can help people with Huntington's disease better understand social cues like facial expressions and tone of voice. The goal is to see if improving these social skills can make daily life easier for patients and reduce stress for their caregivers. Researchers will enroll about 20 people with Huntington's and their caregivers to try the program and see if it's practical to study in a larger trial.
