NCT ID NCT07459621
First seen Mar 14, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study compares two smartphone-based programs to help people who are on the fence about quitting smoking. About 800 adult smokers who are not currently using any treatment will use either a standard app or one with extra content for those not ready to quit. The goal is to see which app leads to more requests for free nicotine patches or quitline services, and to self-reported smoking abstinence after 6 months.
