Baby teeth gaps: do they make smiles less attractive?
NCT ID NCT07480239
First seen Mar 20, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study looks at how gaps between baby teeth and differences in tooth size affect how adults judge a child's smile. Researchers will take photos of children's smiles and digitally change them to create different spacing and tooth size scenarios. Then, dental students and parents will rate how attractive each smile looks. The goal is to understand what people find pleasing in a child's smile.
