First seen Apr 15, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 9 times

Summary

This study tests two at-home treatments—smell training and a gentle nerve stimulation device—to help people with long COVID who have lost or distorted their sense of smell. About 145 adults will do daily sessions for 12 weeks and attend three clinic visits. The goal is to see if these treatments improve smell function and quality of life.
