Can your phone help you drink less and have safer sex?

NCT ID NCT06624514

Summary

This study tested whether a brief smartphone task could help young women who have experienced sexual assault reduce their alcohol use and risky sexual behaviors. Researchers compared a special smartphone task against a sham version to see if it changed participants' automatic reactions to alcohol and condom images, and whether it led to real behavior changes. The study involved 46 women aged 18-25 who completed the task over four days and were followed up for three months.
