First seen Apr 28, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study tested whether using a smart watch and its companion app could help people with obstructive sleep apnea use their CPAP machine more consistently. 46 adults who had trouble sticking with CPAP therapy were enrolled. The goal was to see if the smart watch's health tracking features (like sleep and oxygen monitoring) would motivate better daily use of the breathing device over 90 days.
