Smart crutch tips aim to speed up leg fracture recovery

Summary
This study tests whether personalized weight-bearing guidance using Smart Crutch Tips can improve healing after surgery for a broken shinbone (tibia). About 30 adults aged 18–80 will use these smart crutches with real-time feedback during walking for up to 24 weeks. Researchers will compare different weight-bearing programs to see which leads to faster bone healing and earlier return to full walking.
