Study aims to reduce radiation side effects in cervical cancer treatment

NCT ID NCT07249957

Summary

This study is testing whether using a smaller radiation area during treatment can still effectively control stage IIb cervical cancer while potentially causing fewer side effects. It will involve 60 women aged 50-75 who will first receive chemotherapy, followed by combined chemo and radiation focused on a more limited zone. The main goals are to see how well the treatment works and to monitor safety and side effects.
