Double-Duty drug combo aims to supercharge muscles in SMA kids
NCT ID NCT05115110
Summary
This study is testing whether adding an experimental muscle-building drug (RO7204239) to an approved SMA medication (risdiplam) is safe and works better than risdiplam alone. It involves children and young adults (ages 2-25) with spinal muscular atrophy who can walk. The goal is to see if the combination can further improve muscle size, strength, and overall movement abilities.
