New drug SLV-324 enters human testing for advanced cancers

Summary
This early-stage study tests a new drug, SLV-324, in about 70 adults whose solid tumors have spread and stopped responding to standard treatments. The main goal is to find a safe dose and see how the body handles the drug. Researchers will also watch for any signs that the drug is shrinking tumors.
