Summary
This study is testing a single oral pill called acoziborole to cure sleeping sickness in children aged 1 to 14. It aims to replace current treatments that require painful injections, hospital stays, and spinal taps. If successful, this simple pill could allow children to be treated immediately where they are diagnosed, even in remote areas.
