Summary
This study tested whether a special sleep cap helps newborns in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) sleep longer and have steadier heart rates, breathing, and oxygen levels. Researchers watched 53 stable infants overnight for three nights. The goal was to see if the cap could improve sleep and reduce stress for these vulnerable babies.
