Could your Child's jaw shape predict sleep apnea?

NCT ID NCT07086612

Summary

This study aims to find out if children with a narrow upper jaw are more likely to develop obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) than children with other orthodontic issues. Researchers will compare sleep study results from 102 children aged 6-16 who have different jaw shapes. The goal is to see if a narrow jaw could be an early warning sign, helping doctors identify and treat sleep apnea sooner.
