Summary
This study is testing whether giving a sedative drug called dexmedetomidine at night can help older patients sleep better and feel less tired after major lung surgery. Researchers will compare the drug to a placebo in 102 patients aged 60 and older. The main goal is to see if better sleep leads to a smoother and faster overall recovery.
