NCT ID NCT05263245
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 25 times
Summary
This study looked at whether taking the kidney cancer drug cabozantinib with a light breakfast could reduce side effects like nausea and diarrhea, and possibly allow patients to skip doses sometimes. Twelve adults with advanced kidney cancer who were already on a stable dose of cabozantinib took the drug both with and without breakfast to compare how much of the drug got into their blood. The goal was to find a better dosing schedule that is easier for patients and may lower costs.
